Ten regulator jest regulatorem fazowym i nie zalecam stosowania go do transformatora. Dobry jest do silników takich jak w wiertarce (szczotkowych), wentylatorów i żarówek. Gdzie jest zero w gniazdku ma tylko znaczenie dla bezpieczeństwa pracy. Dla układu nie ma znaczenia czy masz różnicę potencjałów 5V między 0V a 5V czy między 225V a 230V.
